What is a better combo: ipad and iphone 5s or ipad and lg g2?

Does the ipad complement the iphone 5s or detract from its uniqeness

will having an ipad make the iphone futile or will they work together like cheech and chong

but then, is having and ipad and a large lg g2 also pointless? You could argue that where the iphone lacks in size it is made up for with the ipad. Although i don't know if two pretty similar devices are ideal. Also a lot of people argue that the lg g2 is better because of its screen size and capability to watch films and play games, but i don't think this is an issue when you have an ipad?

I'm already getting the ipad as an endorsement kind of deal from my college but the phone is where i need to make the decision.

The ipad & iphone complement each other well.

And, if they are both linked to the same itunes account, any app purchases on either are automatically available to the other device as well, assuming the app runs on both (as most do), so if you have a lot of apps there's quite a cost saving.

The iPad/iPhone combination of course is the better one. Would be able to use apps between the 2, data, etc vs having to buy them for 2 different platforms.
