Never worry about megapixels - most phones have more than you will ever need. A big mp count is simply a markketing tool.

The iPhone 5 has 8mp which is OK but mega pixels don't matter much unless you plan to print out images or have a 1080p screen you'll view it on.
Megapixel is way overrated, the human eye can't even detect differences beyond a certain point.
