What is the difference between the iPhone 5s and 5c? - 1

I knew these iphones were coming out but I just got tired of the new iPhones that I didn't bother to care about them and what they do. But then recently I just started watching iPhone 5s videos and got interested as to what it is. So anyone who is a tech expert, what are the upgrades to these new iPhones from the iPhone 5? Also what is the difference between the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c?

5c is the IPhone 5 with colour. 5s has new features.

The iPhone 5C is an extension of the iPhone 5 with a polycarbonate body. The phone has:
A6 Apple chipset, 32 bit operating system and Improved Facetime camera. It is also priced at a lower value than the iPhone 5.

The iPhone 5S is a totally new smartphone which has further credit to Apple's innovation. The phone has:
A7 Apple chipset, Touch ID (Finger print recognition), 64 bit operating system and neon flash which provides quality images without changing their original texture. The phone will be priced at the cost of iPhone 5.

iPhone 5 and iPhone 4 have been discontinued.

If you look, both iPhone 5S and 5C are same phones but there are some major differences.

From the source site, I have drawn these conclusion -

Both sports 4-inch IPS display same as iPhone 5.

Both comes with iOS 7.

Both are with 8 MP camera but 5S is equipped with dual LED flash.

Both have 1.2 MP front camera with 1080p video quality

Both comes in 16/32/64 GB variants.

The major difference iPhone 5S uses Fingerprint Scanner and this is not found on 5C, so I hope that 5C will be priced lower than its counter part.

iPhone 5C comes with poly carbonate plastic body while 5S gives the same metallic finish as found on iPhone 5 phone. Furthermore, iPhone 5S is packed with next-gen A7 Chip with 64-bit architecture coupled with Apple M7 motion processor.

-- Processor: The iPhone 5s has a new processor from Apple called the A7. The A7 is paired with what Apple calls the M7 Motion Processor. The M7 specifically handles the iPhone's sensors, which Apple says will be a boon to mobile health apps. The combo runs at 64 bits, and Apple claims it can compute at twice the speed of the iPhone 5. The iPhone 5c uses Apple's slightly older A6 processor, which runs at 32 bits. It won't be as fast at some tasks, though the real-world difference between the two is debatable. The A7 chip is more likely to support advanced functions and features down the road.

-- Camera: Both the iPhone 5s and 5c have 8-megapixel cameras, but there are notable differences. The 5s' camera has a larger sensor with bigger pixels. The bigger pixels are able to collect more light. The 5s' camera also has a bigger opening (aperture of f/2.2) to let in even more light. The 5c's aperture is f/2.4. The iPhone 5s has a burst mode that can shoot up to 10 frames per second, and a two-tone flash that Apple says can more accurately capture skin tones. Last, the video camera on the iPhone 5s can shoot 720p HD video at 120 frames per second to create slow-motion footage.

-- Touch ID: Perhaps the most significant difference between the two is Touch ID. The iPhone 5s has a built-in fingerprint sensor for unlocking the device and the 5c does not. The sensor can read thumb or forefinger prints in any direction. The fingerprint is stored locally and fully encrypted. Apple says it is secure and will be a better solution than passwords to lock the iPhone 5s.

First off let me say anything Apple does is not "innovative" it's "revolutionary". Only thing special about the 5S is its 64bit processor which has to do with the A7 chip that's implanted into it and not the operating system (the only phone that could possibly do this through an operating system even without a 64 bit would be BB10 but nobody wants to talk about BlackBerry) Fingerprint scanning has been the innovation of Android but no one decided to use it then so now Apple has it and if you checked their stocks they aren't doing well. The 5C on the other hand is just a 5 that was supposedly meant to be cheap but it doesn't seem that way.
