What isn't my iMessage working?
My iMessage randomly shuts off sometimes and turns into text messages and when I turn it back on, it either doesn't work or it works on some ppl and not others with iPhones. Anything I can do?
Keep in mind that for iMessage to work, both people must have iPhones (obvious) have iMessage turned on (some don't use it), and both must have an Internet connection; whether it be Wi-Fi or cellular. Just because you have an Internet connection doesn't mean the person you're texting does as well. So if you both don't meet all of these requirements it will use text messages instead.
- Why isn't my imessage working on my iphone 4 My imessage hasn't been working for about 5 days now. When i send a text to people who have i phones its sends as a text message. I even tried turning the imessage button one and off in the settings tab. I'm connected to a Wi-Fi as well. Can anyone help me imessage again?
- Why isn't my iMessage working Okay so I went away for a few weeks and now that I'm home I want to use iMessage on my phone again (iPhone 3) but it was off so i just thought that it turned off automatically when I went overseas but when I turned it on again it wouldn't work; it just sat there with "waiting for activation… " on the screen and not actually working. - Why isn't my iMessage working on my iPhone 5? It's fully updated as far as iOS goes. I was on my run today and literally it just stopped working out of nowhere. Looked online for troubleshooting but Apple doesn't help AND I don't wanna screw my phone up any worse (whatever is going on) by doing something to activate iMessage again. Anybody have a proven trick that may help me get this back on track? Much appreciated!

It started working for a while then it stopped. it works when i send txts to my other friends that have iphone bt when i send things to my boyfriend it would said message failure or not sent something like that?
