What noise is my computer making? Hard drive or fan?
I will link you a short video of my iPhone aimed at my hard drive and the noise it makes when only firefox or nothing is open. This was just recorded 10 minutes ago btw. 8 minutes after Startup.

So, you watched it, what is it? Sometimes the sound stops but it always come back. We gotten a new fan 2 months ago. 4 months ago I had gotten a new hard drive with a fan. AND a CPU.
So what do?

So here:
Take the fan off and turn the computer on, then take the hard drive and turn the computer on.
Don't forget that the power supply also has a fan or fans inside which can get noisy.

Edit: That is the hard drive. It could be fine for years or it could die right now. Which way would you bet?
If you can't afford to lose any of your information, I'd be replacing it (today).

- Why is my IPhone 5c sreen making a clicking noise? Last night I was fiddling around with my phone when I realized that the screen is making a clicking noise. Last night it was just off to the side, but now if seams as if it is spreading to the bottom right corner of the screen.
- Why did my HP laptop start making Iphone text noise message? I was just playing an online game and suddenly it was doing it multiple times, nothing else was opened except for Skype, and Skype does not make that noise.
