What prepaid services can I bring my Sprint iPhone 4 to?
I want to be able to bring my iPhone 4 to a cheaper prepaid service/plan (similar to virgin mobile, page plus, and metropcs). I don't understand "flashing", nor do I want to pay anyone to "flash" my phone for me, so that's out of the picture. I would love a list of cheap plans that would let me bring my own device that is a Sprint iPhone 4.
That phone is cdma only which means it doesn't have a sim which means it can only be used on sprint unless its flashed to another carrier
If it was ann att iphone easy unlock and many choices of carriers… Sprint not as easy
- What's a prepaid phone? Can IPhones be prepaid? I'm going to buy an IPhone 4 from my friend and i'm wondering if it can be prepaid? If so do I need anything like a sim chip? & It's not on contract… Or could I just go on a plan without being on a contract?
- Is it possible to bring iPhone 5 sprint to T-mobile? A friend has an iPhone 5 from Sprint. He wants to unlock it so that he can use it with T-mobile. I'm not sure how this unlock and carrior transfer business works… Is it possible to switch from Sprint to T-mobile? - Would there be any limitations? If so where can I go to have the phone unlocked. Is there any possible free ways of doing it? (like using redsn0w or such software)?
- Iphone 4s from sprint carrier can i use it as a prepaid? I bought a phone off craiglist. And its carrier is sprint. If the account is deactivated can i use it as a no contract phone? Obviously that phone is no longer in contract and its deactivated. Or how can i make it no longer a cdma and awitch it to gsm so i can use another carrier inside the us not for international purpuses
- Does Turing off location services beat sprint family locator iPhone? If I turn off location services will my parents still be able to track me through sprint family locator? What about airplane mode?
