What's the best tripod for recording video on an Iphone 5 or an Ipad?
I want to be able to record video on my iphone. Which tripod is the best one for the iphone/ ipad? I'm a beginner, so I don't need anything too sophisticated. Any suggestions are appreciated.
It depends what you need.
If you need a desktop tripod, then suggesting a large floor-standing one would not be appropriate.
If you want to use the set-up outdoors and it is windy where you live, then suggesting a low-end, lightweight tripod would not be appropriate.

There's nothing "sophisticated" about them - they all do the same thing. You will want a tablet mount and a smartphone mount

"L" has a very thorough answer. I use a little L-shaped adapter that holds my phone and screws to a tripod. It's pretty small and I keep it in my bag just in case.
