There are quite a few differences between the iPhone 5 & the iPhone 4. Firstly the size - The iPhone 4 is bigger and heavier than the 5 and has a smaller screen. The iPhone 5 also has the "Lightning" connector rather than the old style 30pin.
Secondly, the 5 has an 8mp camera, compared to the 5mp of the 4, as well as face detection and a panorama feature, along with the Siri Intelligent Assistant feature.
