What's the most protective iPhone 6 case?

I completely destroyed my iPhone 6 last week (it had a VERY unprotective case) by dropping it and unfortunately had to get a new one. I will not make the same mistake I did last time, so what is the best for drop protection? The two I'm considering most are the Otterbox Defender and Spigen Tough Armor. Unfortunately, from what I've heard, both have more cons than pros. I absolutely can't spend more than $60. I've also had 2 LifeProof cases in the past and both of them broke, so even if I could afford it, I wouldn't buy them again.

IPhone screen break based on what I see coming through my store 100 to 1 compared to every other Windows, flip phone, Android combined. If people stop buying them maybe Apple with make them stronger, I would say don't get another iPhone. I would say a otter box defender with a glass protector, that will help but iPhones do break, so just get use to it.

  • Your opinion: Best protective case for an iPhone? It seems the Otterbox is the most go-to brand but does a Griffin case do just as well? What other brands work? I'm new to the iPhone world and I don't really want to drop and damage an expensive phone.
  • Which kind of iPhone case is the most protective? Silicone, hard cover, leather (like Apple's), or silicone and plastic (like Speck)? Also, with silicone cases, do they ever come off your phone when you're taking it out of your pocket? I had a Belkin one for my iPod Touch and it did that, wondering if iPhone cases do that too.
  • Which iPhone case is most protective? I have an iPhone 4 and my otter box is in need of replacement lol but I don't want to spend $50 on a thick case that's going to tear up in another month or two no matter how well it protects my phone. I want it to be skinny so it can fit in my pocket but mostly protective. Any ideas?
  • What is the best protective Iphone case that still looks good? I might be getting an Iphone but I want a protective case (one that looks good and doesn't add much bulk). I'm kinda clumsy so something with shock protection but is still sleek and stylish. I'm looking at the incase proslider and the speck candyshell flip so if you could also tell me which of those is better that would be great.
