What's up with my Apple account & how can I fix it?

So I bought a new iPad a few weeks ago. Everything was going fine until I tried purchasing some music from the iTunes store. It asked me some security questions - which I thought I got right, but I must have got them wrong and forgot, because apparently they weren't right… Then I was banned for a few hours from purchasing anything.
Anyway, my iPhone is fine with downloading things from the App and iTunes store, its just I can't on the iPad because of these repeated security measures of asking me security questions because it's a new Apple device I've got, right? How can I fix this problem, I want to be able to download stuff directly to me iPad.

If you got an apple account with iPhone you use same I'd with iPad which is your email address and password same as if you went and downloaded from App Store
