What should I ask for, for Christmas this year 2013?

I'm 21 and I get asked what I want for Christmas but I really don't know. I have a tablet they wouldn't get me an iphone so there's no reason for me to even ask. I have a laptop and I'm going to school but I'm still living at home so it won't be so expensive. I would love to get like a pet but my dad would never let me keep it not with my baby sisters in the house too (it's so wrong I'm 21 with a 3 year old sister). Anyway, I really don't have any idea cause I'm not really concerned with fashion or makeup and very few people actually get me clothes I like so I never ask for that stuff. So if anyone has any ideas as to what I could ask for let me know cause if I don't come up with something I'll end up getting something that just sits in my room collecting dust.

Just ask for a pap smear and mammogram.

If you know you'll probably end up getting something that just sits in a room collecting dust, try asking for something that could maybe help somebody else. Ask to get something you know a friend or other family member would like, for example your younger sister. You could also ask for something that could go to benefiting somebody else, especially around this time of year, not many people have enough money or the ability to go out and buy something for themselves or their loved ones and it's honestly the best feeling in the world, knowing that it's going to be going to good use. For one of my friend's birthdays all she said she wanted whenever somebody asked her was a pair of shoes and people asked her why she wanted all those shoes and she sent them off to different parts of the world where people couldn't afford any of that and it really inspired me to do something like that and ever since then I've just been waiting for a chance to be able to do something similar in order to help people, because just like you said yourself, I know that whatever it is that I'm going to get is just going to sit in a corner and collect dust. A camera is useful or something that your interest in instead of an iphone. Don't get a pet because you'll have to care/cleaning up after it 24/7. No free time if you do get a pet. So get something simple and useful that you'll end up using. Just take sometime and it'll pop up.

I think it is better to think about your 3 year old sister that what she wants, so that the same thing you can pass it your parents and if you get it pass it to your sister.
