Depending on when you get enough an iPhone 7 may end up being a better option.
The p8 is a nice phone. Do you want an android phone or an apple is the question they are both great phones its a difficult choice.
Its up to you but its hard to go wrong with an iphone because they are better quality. You know you won't have any lag issues, virus issues, or app related issues.

I usually just ask my parents for money and they give it to me so i want to take some initiative and learn what its like to save up to earn what you want but of course i need a goal first!
