What tablet / computer do I need?

I have macbook pro 15" with dedicated GPU already, Wacom Intuos Pro large, iPhone 5s.

However, people complain that I take too heavy stuff which I don't mind.

I have a solution is to buy a big backpack for my on the go.

I need to have the ability to sketch, draw, , take note, and work on the go, whenever the idea / inspiration come out.

Which one is better? Tablet or Laptop? My sister might be getting an Iphone soon, I will become very jealous of her new phone, so I want to get a gift for christmas to make it equal. Should I get a tablet or a laptop? I also want to be able to play Minecraft since all my friends play it. Which one should I get? My price limit is $300.
What's the best tablet out there right now? I'm thinking of getting a nexus 7, but I also saw the ipad mini and now I'm not sure. I already have two iPhones and heard the ipad mini is the same as all other apple products.
Tablet snapshots on the Tablet and iPhone? I'm not very tech-savvy guy, go please forgive me. But does a Samsung note 10.1-the 2013- snapshot consume more memory space than a iPhone 4 in general? Should I buy a laptop or a tablet? How do pages display on a tablet? I have an iPhone 6s Plus. It almost seems redundant to buy a tablet, but they are more affordable than a laptop. I prefer the way web pages display on a laptop. I have never had a tablet, do they display pages more like a phone or a laptop?
