What the heck is this stupid voice control on the iPhone?
I have an iPhone 4 and there's this thing called "voice control". I don't even know what it is or what the purpose of it is. But it's become a huge problem on my phone. The "voice control" thing just randomly pops up.It's only when I have the headphones on. Usually I'm trying to watch a youtube video on the phone and then it will close the video while I'm in the middle of it and pop up "voice control" and start playing random songs from my iTunes library. It also sometimes just does it while I'm listening to music, the voice control will keep popping up and interrupting the song I'm listening to. Sometimes it will make the song start playing really fast. What the heck? It's really starting to piss me off. I can't even watch a video or do anything without that stupid annoying thing interrupting.
All it is is a way for you to control different options on you phone through an application, probably purchased or put on the phone as default.
You open the application, and wait for instruction after that. What it ask you to do is say a command, such as "call T… ", and it will call whoever it was you commanded it to do.
You can use it to access internet, call or text people, so on and so forth.
Voice control only shows up when you hold down your home button for several seconds. Voice control is basically a very limited Siri. You can call people from it, play/pause music (other music controls as well), and FaceTime people.
- Siri/voice control on iphone 5 turning on randomly? Whenever I'm listening to something (podcast, music, etc.) siri will frequently turn on. I turned off siri and voice controll will turn on instead. I have had my iphone 5 for 6 months and haven't had any problems until now. Aside from scratches on the outside edges, there are no structural problems and I haven't dropped the phone at all.
- My iPhone (3GS) randomly started playing a song and turning voice control on today? Today, when I was in second period at school, my iPhone randomly started playing a song from my library. In third period, while doing an assessment, voice control turned on. At lunch, I turned my phone off and took it out of my back and put it in my inside blazer pocket. It might be a new bag I started using today that caused the problem. I really want to know how to stop this so I can stop worrying. (;
- Is tbere any major différence between thé iPhone 6 and the 6s? Whooppeee is Xmas again and my daughter wants new 2nd hand) iPhone… 2 years ago almost bought her 5 before i réaliséd that it was 5s she wanted ( cos thé 5 sucks?) And I don't want to screw up this year…
- IPhone voice control problems? This happens EVERY TIME I play music on my iPhone; it goes to voice control without me pressing anything! It's driving me crazy! I've literally hit play and just set it on a table, and it goes to voice control like 5 times. Why does it do this? And how, if possible, can I fix it? This is the most frustrating thing ever, so if you have any ideas it would really help me out.
