What to do before selling my iPhone 4S?

I have an iPhone 4S (32GB, black, Verizon) and I'm selling it on eBay. Before I send it to the buyer, what do I do to ensure they can't activate it on my Apple ID or my Verizon number? I know I restore it through iTunes, but then what?

Factory reset it

All you have to do is reset it so when the buyer gets it, it's like new.

Once you've reset the phone fully, every data is removed from the phone. Make sure to do that before shipping.

Settings > General > Erase All Content & Settings

Erase to factory settings remove sim card and you should be fine

That's about it. They can't access anything after that since there's nothing to access.
