When will the iPhone 6 and iOS 8 come out?

Will the iPhone 6 come out before or after iOS 8 update is released?

I'm hopefully getting a new phone (most likely the new iPhone 6 this year. I have the iPhone 4 right now, which will not support iOS 8 when it comes out. So I was wondering which of the two, the new iPhone or the update will come out first?

It's most likely that iOS 8 will launch alongside the iPhone 6 in September, like Apple has done every September for years.

The update, iOS 8 will be 1st followed not too long after by the iPhone 6. If you plan to get the 6 anyway it wouldn't matter since no matter what it will come with iOS 8 pre-installed.

Both will be coming out in September. However, you can install iOS 8 now if you register your device's UDID with a developer account through a site like http://www.udid.in/. It's $5, and then you can try out the latest OS before everyone else.
