Which is better, the iPhone 4 or the LG Optimus F6?

I'm planning to get a new phone this Christmas and my parents wants me to buy the cheapest phone sadly so my choice is the iPhone 4 but the phone's really outdated and I really don't know if I should get it and so my second choice is the LG Optimus F6 and it seems like a really great phone but I'm not sure if it's the right phone for me like it HAS to have a good camera for instance!

If the iPhone 4 is in the realm of what they are willing to pay (its like $450 off contract still or free on contract) then seriously look into the nexus 5. It has top end specs for a mid range price ($350 off contract)

the F6 is a pretty nice phone for the price though

also look into the Motorola Moto G as it is yet another awesome little phone for the money… I would take this over the F6 as its faster, gets faster updates (already on latest android Version) and I know the battery life is fantastic on it… And you can get different back cover colors.
