Why are internet ads becoming increasingly similar to the pop-ups we all hate?
They give me an X, so you'd think I could click out of them, but instead they just redirect me to another website.
They give me this "Help! Help! Save the Iphone from being flushed down the toilet! And then you win it!" It's annoying as hell, comes with a an annoying toilet flush sound effect, and can't be clicked out of, save for refreshing the page.
I just want to enjoy some internet, maybe I have a virus. I couldn't tell you, because very suspicious looking ads telling me I have a virus, or my PC is about to crash, keep popping up! Why hasn't it crashed yet!
Please, if any of you have dealt with this monstrosity of an annoyance and done away with it, let me know.

Those are spam sites that do obnoxious ads, so you are visiting some skeptical websites. Normal sites have ads but not like that.
Your computer is infected. Scan with Malwarebytes. Then install Adblock Plus.
- Virus on iPhone 4s? Pop ups? I know that it's basically impossible to get a virus, but everytime I open the Internet on y iPhone it redirects me to a page saying "claim the new iPhone 5 today, you are the 10000th viewer". I tried clearing my history, cookies, and data and it stil did it. How do I make it stop?

- I keep getting pop-up ads on my phone? Okay so I was trying to download an app that I wanted, but I download from a website on my phone, but now I keep getting pop-ups ads in my phone telling that I won an amazon gift card or an IPhone X. I know for a fact that I've download a file instead of a App, and have tried to delete through the settings apps, but it doesn't let me delete any flies, only apps. If you know how to delete files please let me know! I appreciate if you do comment, though.
