Why can't I activate my iPhone 5s?
My family surprised me with it, and I was given this card thing that had a code and a card to put in the phone. I put the card in, like it said to. My brother took control from there, and I can't send text messages. He handed me the phone back to connect my Apple ID… So I did the rest of the process, but it still won't work. Since it's xmas eve, the store is closed and I can't call in. I wasn't given a manual either… So I'm not sure what to do. I shut off my previous phone also… But that one still works. Not sure why.
Can anyone figure it out?

Try connecting it to iTunes to activate it, or try again in a couple of minutes. I've been trying to activate for like 3 days and it still wouldn't work. Should I just go to the apple store and have them activate it?
