Why did FBI broke/unlock an iPhone without Apple's help? - 1

FBI HAS All SORTS OF Help FROM ANY COMPANY, IT IS THE LAW IN US.

Simple: Apple were refusing to help and another company approached them suggesting they knew a way of getting past the iPhone security and encryption. And it now appears that they were successful so the FBI gave up on trying to use the Courts to force Apple to assist them.

Because Apple wasn't going to do it for them, so they apparently found an alternative party to do so & they did it.

The FBI had the power most likely all along to unlock that iPhone but a tool from Apple themselves would have been extremely convenient for the future and other cases that required an iPhone to be unlocked. Apple most likely is going to upgrade or make it harder for the FBI to hack into their future iPhone's and make the FBI even more mad. That would be awesome.

  • Why is it so hard for the FBI to hack the San Bernadino shooters iPhone? If the government has a department like the NSA filled with professional hackers, why do they need Apple to break the iPhone s encryption? Will it look bad if the government hacks the phone themselves? By the way, I'm not taking anyone s side here. I understand why Apple is reluctant to create this "back door" to bypass the iPhones encryption. And I know that hacking the shooters phone could answer so many questions people have.
  • Why does the FBI have such a hard time cracking iPhone encryption. Why don't they just use the spy agencie's methods of using spyware? All you need is their phone number, and a cheap piece of software and you have access to everything on the phone (including deleted info) Why make a huge scene about it, when there are much easier ways to bypass lock screen encryption? You don't even need access to the phone, it can remotely install with just one phone call to the number too… Just saying, if the FBI really wanted in, it would be very easy
  • Apple-FBI issue With or against Apple? As we heard few weeks ago that Apple has refused to break the password of an Iphone a criminal had, to protect the privacy of the users, anyway FBI considered this as an obstruction of justice. Today I heard that the FBI has broke the security of the Iphone on its own. With or Against the action of "Apple" company by refusing the orders of FBI?
  • Is the FBI virus still on my iphone? The stupid pop up came up, and after trying for a while, I managed to close out the window causing the pop up. Is the virus still on my iPhone?
