Why do people dislike Nokias?

I have had a Nokia 1020 for over a year now and it is still running better than my iPhone 5s ever did. With a professional 41 mega pixel camera, great storage and fast running programs it exceeds the iPhone six in almost every way, yet people take one look at it and turn up their noses. Why are people so opinionated?

Unfortunately people take opinions from other people. They also judge the phone on what apps are available for it, past experiences etc.

I agree with you, these sorts of phones are far better than these mainstream phones however if it can't run (lets say) Snapchat people will hate it. It's stupid.

Remember the spinny clock phones? Does 'BlackBerry' ring a bell? They have improved so much since then. People underestimate them because they used to crash every second, with very limited apps that don't do anything. Now you get a super quick OS that has the ability to run BlackBerry and Android apps in one go. People don't know about this.

My BlackBerry is far better than my sister's iPhone and my mother's HTC put together. In my opinion. 1. There are very few applications for it, as compared to Android and Apple.
2. Over the past few years Nokia had a major quality fall.
3. The Lunina series was built specifically for the Microsoft phone o/s, and even Microsoft is pulling away from it.
4. The 41 MP camera is not that great. A professional wants a professional camera, not a cell phone Everything is possible. No new models from Nokia side then how people will like Nokia.
some Nokia products is there in market bt performance is very poor

www.techliveinfo.com, www.smartmobtech.c… Lol… The funny thing is you got sold a marketing pitch with "41" megapixel camera. That means nothing. I have the Lumia 1020 too - and I like it well enough. The camera is great, the screen is good quality, and in general its a good phone, I got it after having issues with my iPhone 5. However, Windows does annoy me sometimes, there's a lack of apps, the updates either do nothing or (in the case of the most recent update) stop the phone from working until the next update is released - which happened with Apple too and was one of the reasons I decided to drop Apple.

I suppose it depends on what you want from a phone, that will be the key factor to whether or not you like a certain type. I will also say - there aren't many nice phone cases for the Lumias, which bothers me because it really does have to have a case. I had to get one custom printed to be really happy with it.
