Why do people like stuff from Apple?

I mean i don't hate it or anything but for example in school my school:
"OMG! YOU HAVE AN IPHONE!" then they think your rich or something. Its just like any other phone but with a bitten apple logo on the back. I have used my Windows computer and an Apple at school and I prefer Windows. At school, the computers FREEZE ALOT! But why do people like them? Tbh i used to also like them but thank you 2 my dad I got over it. BUT Y? And there stuff costs alot!

Simple. Apple has captured the "hot item" even though there are a lot better phones still out there than the iphone ppl still buy it b/c it looks nice and its what everyone else has.

Like macbooks are all 1000+ but with that you can get an amazing windows laptop with at least 8gb ram, ssd, and a dedicated graphic card

I myself also prefer windows over apple

Apple is all eye candy. Honestly, I spent $2000 on a gaming PC that will last me a couple years before it needs upgrading. If I had spent that $2000 on a mac I would have had to purchase a new mac in a year or two for another $2000 to keep up with the hardware requirements of games. And as for iPhones, they are nothing more than toys in childrens hands.iPhones are meant to be used by people who Really need them. Buying an iPhone simply to use instagram/facebook/music/apps is a big waste of money on the actual phone and the contract. My "idiot" phone does all I need it to do, text, call, receive and send pictures, and I use my 160gb ipod classic to listen to all of the music I want. Just my two cents, iSheep are going to hate no matter what.

As a whole, they're very easy to use, especially for people that don't want to read all the manuals.
Robust design. I have a MacBook, purchased new, that's 4 years old. No issues, no cost whatsoever, after original purchase. Been to Genius Bar, no charge, for three visits. "Let the engineers worry about it" was what I was told after one of the visits.
No viruses whatsoever, and I'm on the web daily. Tons of sites.
Didn't have to buy any antiviruses, nor office suite. I got iWork for about $30, and OpenOffice for free.
The school computers have issues because they're either (1) old or (2) everyone who touches them tries to hack them, necessitating tons of security.
As for the cost, my iPhone was purchased used… I couldn't validate the cost of a new one.

If you like to play around with your hardware/software (and some people do. I did, and still do), Windows is the way to go. Lots of settings. And lots of freeware/shareware to help you undo your actions.

Name and price. I've seen Tommy Hilfiger shirts at macy's for $120. 100% cotton.
