I personally think to show off That they got money
Because they're doing what everyone else is doing. And because they hold a very premium device with high quality build and sleek design.iPhones aren't for everyone, but they are not bad by any means. Just expensive.
I have an iPhone. I do not think I'm cool because I have an iPhone. I hope no one else thinks that either. I actually wish that my favorite case- the Otterbox Defender- did not have the cutout for the apple in the back. I have no need for everyone to be able to see that little apple.
Two of my children recently got iPhones. They think they are cool (the phones) and are glad to have them. They do not think they are cool because they have the iPhone, they are just glad because until a month ago they had basic phones (not a smartphone of any type).
I see so many people posting about people with iPhones that I just have to wonder if those people are jealous or bitter or what… It should not take up that much of their thought to worry about someone because of the type of phone they have.
EDITED TO ADD: I can't figure out why people think you have to have a lot of money to have an iPhone. Some phone companies subsidize them just like they do other phones, so you can get them for free or very little.

Because teenager obsess about brand names and fads, every generation of teens have something they all desire because they see everyone else with. So to be just like everyone else or to be cooler than those who don't, teen seek out these fad products.
In the 1990's teens had to all have certain expensive sneaker, then in the early 2000's skinny jeans were all the rage, in 5 - 6 years the phone of choice will be different, when the iPhone is perceived to be for "old" folks when the next generation of teens comes of age.
- Why people like iPhones? I can't never get people who like iphones to give a good reason, why? Some say it easy, but a lot have no clue on how to use their own phones. Can someone explain something useful that great about iphone? Everything they think is special other phones have been doing for years.
- Why do so many people have Iphones? I think there ABSOLUTE crap? The screen is tiny, it has no character, only one boring menu, the screen is dull, it COST 80 DOLLARS A MONTH and the stretched out design is UGLY. I think that even Samsung phone is even better than those overrated phones.
- Why do people think that childfree people are immature and selfish? Marriage isn't living outside of yourself for another person? What about taking care of extended family?
- Why do people think Iphones are so cool? When they first came out they were because there wasent anything like it but now even the new ones I think are a thing of the past.Am I the olney one?
