Why does my iphone 5 take blurry pictures?
I let it focus but no matter what it takes blurry pictures.
It could be in the settings. If it's on the focus mode: MACRO, you might need to change it back to AUTO focus.
IPhone cameras work well in just a narrow band of conditions. If you are in a low light condition, trying to take fast action photos, or are zoomed all the way in, your chances for blur are greatly increased.
Regardless of the hype Apple tells you - these cameras are not that good.
As with any camera you need adequate light and you and subject should be still. Movement causes blur.
First, make sure there isn't a smudge over the lens. Clean as per the manual.
Next, make sure you are holding the camera still. Pull in your elbows to your body. Shaky hands cause most picture blur.
