Why does my iphone say i have too much storage? - 2

I can't take photos or download any apps. I have deleted all my apps, messages, and over 100 photos. It will not let me even update to IOS 7 because it says there's not enough storage. I mean i literally have nothing left on my phone. Do i have to go through icloud? Its a 4s

Connect it to itunes on a computer. If I'm right itunes will say the phone is filled with 'Other' data. This means a corruption of the storage of the phone itself. You would have to restore the phone through Itunes as new and then re-add everything over again via sync or re-downloading it. Backing up and restoring from said backup would not help as it brings that corruption right back on over.

I've tried turning it off and on and it says the same thing. What can I do to fix it? I'm trying to do everything I can't to restore it.

  • Why does my iphone say I have used so much storage? It say I have used 5.3 GB. It say I have 821mb left. I added up all the apps and and its like 3300 MB. I looked it up and its like 1000 MB in a GB. So that's like 2 GB that's being used that isn't there. What is taking up all my storage. Can someone please explain?! And can someone tell me how to free up some storage if I can
