Why does my Voice Sound Different When It's Recorded?
Its so f"ckin worse when record via iphone or audacity.
But when i singing on Mic my sound is very good
Well when you speak normally, you hear the sounds from within your head i mean your sound reverberates inside your skull to give you the voice you are familiar with, but the recorded one has no such effect because it's simply recorded into the machine… And the recorded sound is what others hear, i mean that's how your voice sounds to others
- Will my singing voice sound better recorded on a professional mic in a studio? & does it get edited? All I have to record me singing is my iPhone & I think I sound awful over that & it makes me sad & say horrible things that I suck
- Why does my voice sound different on a Blue Snowball vs an IPhone built-in microphone? My voice on the iPhone mic sounds more light and agile, but on the Blue Snowball it sounds deep and heavy. I haven't adjusted settings for the Snowball yet, but should I? Is the iPhone mic true enough to trust as my standard?
- Why does my singing voice sound so different when recorded? When I sing on the voice memo thing on my iPhone my voice sounds kinda odd. It doesn't really sound that good. When I sing out load or on a microphone my voice sounds really good. Like, I just downloaded a microphone app and when I sang into it I can hear my voice live And it sounded good. Why does it sound different when I record it on my iPhone? It's not off pitch or anything it just seems weird and less "singy" I can't really explain it.
- Why does it sound different when i listen to an iphone recording with versus without headphones? I post little covers of myself singing and it just seems that without headphones, my voice sounds more resonant and full but when i plug in my headphones it just sounds really whiny and lacking bass. Is the sound with headphones a more accurate sound?
