Why does this recent generation takes everything for granted?

The generation i'm talking about is the ones that were born after the wii and after a few iphones were brought out and ipods also.
why do they take everything for granted? They don't take care of anything, and just don't care. I always have to work for my stuff and my wii i had after a year it came out (had to earn it) and it looks brand new still cause i know i won't be able to get another one (lack of money and cause why would i get another if i broke the first one)
they don't have to earn anything and i even seen a 5 year old with a tablet that i can't even have money for and they don't care. They can break it and get a new one or the newest brand.
so why does the generation takes everything for granted?

I dunno. I wouldn't say that stuff like ipads are necessarily the most stable or non blooping technology around.

I think mostly bad parents, alot of them never taught them about working hard, the value of money, etc. So they think everything in life should be a free ride, they have a long life ahead of them.

Unless humans have changed genetically since the time period you talk about, then you can't slander them with insults. They are the fruits of the past generations labour. They react to the environment they were placed into in a human way. If you were born into the generation you describe, and were raised in it from birth, then you too would be like the people you mock.

Where should the finger of blame lay? It should lay in the people who set up this generation. They set up the environment for these attitudes to come to fruition in. Perhaps the people who blindly lambast the new generation should really stop being so ignorant as to come up with insulting, ad hominem arguments, and infact explore the deeper facts and foundations with an open mind.
