Why is an iPhone ridiculously expensive?
I use a Sony Z1 Compact which is obviously an android phone. I like to root and customize from kernels to over clocking my phone. I know iPhones can be jailbroken. Now there's all this hype for the new iPhone which has specs same as a 2012 Nexus 4. Seriously guys, why do some people buy overpriced products when you can buy better smartphones at a cheaper and reasonable price? Let me know what you think below!
Spoken like someone who doesn't know anything about technology. If you don't like iOS or Apple's phones how about you just don't buy them instead of trying to justify your purchase.
Because a lot of people think that the more expensive something is the better it will be.
Lol, the 2012 Nexus 4 and the iPhone 6 could not be anymore different. All phones are expensive when they are launched. There are plenty of phones that are more expensive than iPhones. Check out the prices on the most recent Galaxy, or the HTC One. They both cost more.
So you're so tech savvy that you can root your android phone but apparently incapable of using the internet to actually check the prices of IPhone competitors that are about as expensive (if not pricier) than iPhone?
- Why is the T-mobile iPhone so expensive? With AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon the 32 GB model is 299. From T-mobile, it is 749. Isn't that ridiculous?
- Why is the iPhone 5 more expensive than the iPhone 5C? Well iPhone 5C is newer and had a little improvement (not much of a difference, I know) but why is it less expensive than iPhone 5? They are still selling iPhone 5 here in our country I'm wondering why the price of 5C is lower than 5 even if it has sort of improvement.
- Why is the iPhone 5 more expensive in Canada? On http://store.apple.com/...ly/iphone5 (the US website) the 16GB is $199 but on the Canadian website http://store.apple.com/...ly/iphone5 the 16GB is $699? What sense does that make? Is it really a 500 dollar difference when you buy it from the states? Why is it like that? Or am i just reading it wrong?
- Why is the iphone 5 more expensive here in Australia? Outright purchase of the iphone 5 64gb in Australia costs $999 whereas the US sells it for $399. Why exactly is this a huge difference considering that our currency is fairly close?
