Why is my generation so weak and soft?

Yeah yeah I know what you're gonna say

"You can't just generalize a whole generation"
"Stop stereotyping"

Obviously, I don't mean everybody
But what I'm trying to say is.

Why is everybody getting so offended nowadays?
There's all these anti bullying things
everybody is so insecure
everybody is going online to find intimacy
everybody gets so hurt by everything
everybody just wants to be so pampered
Everybody just wants to spend hours on their videogames and iphones

It's like nobody has the feel to live dangerously anymore.
Everybody's so sensitive and insecure, socially awkward and under the delusions that reality is too hard

Well, reality is hard,
but it's the only thing we have
so why do people cower in there shells so much?

This is mostly a problem in the US and Canada,
I went to Europe and China this year, and the mentality there's very different.

You would be surprised how different American and Russian youths are.
or American and Italians!

Why are we so soft and weak and we just want the whole world to be filled with sunshine and rainbows?

For the record, bullying nowadays is much harsher than back then. Nowadays we have the internet which allows anonymity in the safety of your screen so basically you say whatever the heck you want without getting into any trouble. Some people say really harsh words and sometimes too many harsh words can drive a person to that point where they can't take it anymore and feel like they need to end it. There's practically no way to avoid the internet. It's one of those things that are ubiquitous in the 21rst century. So it's not that our generation is weaker. If the internet was used in the 60s, it would still be the same for these people as well.

Americans float further from reality. Part of it was Nixon stopping the military draft. And now fat kids can sit in their mother's basement and think war is really fun because they'll never have to go.

You underestimate the fighting prowess of the American warrior in battle. I don't.

Once the youth generation have learned of American success in battle, they too will take up the battle standard of liberty and race to destroy the enemies of freedom.

I've noticed that most American teens find a lot of things to be creepy… What Europeans find cool and interesting, Americans find creepy and weird.

Because we're genetically modified. We aren't used to pain like they were back in the old ages and we have everything planned and tooken care of by our governments. I also wished I lived in medeival ages
