Why is my iphone charging so quickly?

The charge isn't increasing by 1prcnt rather whenever i check, it jumps from 30prcnt straight to 35prcent?

Also it charges to 100 percent within half an hour, i've never had a phone charge so quickly, is this a good battery or an issue?

Added (1). i think it may be an issue cause the battery dies within 3 hours of straight use as well.

Added (2). yes i was using an ipad air cube charger. Thats probably why, thanks

What charger are you using? The small cube power adapter that came with the iPhone? That would be a 1 amp 5 watt charger, and that should take a few hours to charge. If you're using the iPad charger, the big square ones. Those are 2.1 amp 10 watts, which would charge 2x faster than the other charger, and that would be why it's charging so fast. However, if you are indeed using the original small cube 1 amp charger, and your phone still charges to 100% in half an hour. Then I would make an appointment with the Apple store to have your phone checked to see if its running normally. Bring the charger you used also, and they might switch it with a new one. If output 5v 2.1 amp then possible. They developing a charger that can charge in 30 seconds. Guess you'll have to see how fast the battery drains. If it drains fast, I'd say there's a problem To try and save some power, try setting it to low power mode. The performance may reduce a bit but you'll save some battery life. I heard you get an extra 1-3 hours of battery life in low power mode. I may be wrong though but that's what I've heard.

  • Why does my iPhone battery die so quickly? I had my iPhone for about a year and a half, and recently I've noticed that the battery is draining incredibly fast. I've always had it on 3g internet/Wi-Fi and the battery never died this fast so I don't know what the exact problem is. I charged it to 100% yesterday and I only used it for maybe about 10 minutes and left it untouched for the rest of the night. Today when I woke up the phone was dead. I haven't changed the settings or anything fyi.
  • Why does my iPhone 4s' battery die so quickly? I'll have it fully charged when I wake up at 8, then it's basically almost dead around 1 in the afternoon. It use to not die this quickly. But now it's like crazy how fast it dies! I'm on Twitter a lot and I text a lot. But I use to always do that too, and it never died as quickly as it does now. Any tips to help save battery?
  • Why does my iPhone 4S battery die so quickly? - 1 Everyday I turn off all the running apps and shut down my phone which is at 100% and then when I get home from school it's at 60% without me doing anything. My friend Hannah's did the same thing and her friend did something to it and now it loses only like 4% in 6 hours while playing on it all day but i don't know what she did. Do you know what she might of done or how you can fix this?
