Why won't cydia tweaks work on my iPhone 5s?
So my iphone is jailbroken with cydia 1.1.9.It's not mobile substrate because an update was just released for it. The tweaks appear in settings but they don't change anything. Yes they are ios 7 compatible. What's going on? The one tweak that has worked for me is f.lux.
The jailbreak that is out right now was rushed (apparently there's money it jailbreaking first) and testing was not complete before it was released the developers of this jailbreak did not let "saurik" the guy who run cydia know that the jailbreak was coming and did not involve him in the development. As a result there's no official cydia version for this jailbreak. The cydia that is on it, is a patched version the Evasion Developers put together.
Bottomline is that this jailbreak is weak and buggy and many of the tweaks won't work until there's an official version of cydia out for this jailbreak. You can keep checking sauriks page for updates
Even though cydia substrate it out now, all the tweaks need to be recompiled in order for them to run on the A7 processor. Just wait until they are all updated.
