Why won't my iPhone 5 restore?

I tried restoring my iPhone 5 but it says "iTunes could not restore the iPhone "Nathan's iPhone" because not enough free space is available on the iPhone."

I have 3.43 GB Free so I don't see the problem and I have iOS 7.So, does anyone have suggestions?

Delete some apps and videos to free up some memory. Get 4GB free space and try again.

Try restoring from your computer. Why are you restoring it?

You can free up some space, space too full is not good for your iPhone running. You can delete some files that are not needed anymore. If you don't want to delete any of them. You can backup the data before deleting it.iTunes, iCloud backup, and some third-party tool backup are all good choice to make iPhone data backup. You can choose a proper one accordingly.

Sounds like you are not restoring as new but restoring back up. If you are trying to put a backup on that is too large it will not work.
