Why won't my iTunes update to 11.1.3?
I've been using iTunes on my macbook for a couple of years now and usually it updates fine, but I haven't updated it in a while. I need to update it to work with iOS7 on my iPhone and for some reason, it won't update? It tells me that 11.1.3 is available and then it searches for updates for a few minutes before telling me my internet connection isn't working when it obviously is and has been working fine. It also says that my Software Update Server isn't responding, I have no idea what this means.
I've tried doing it over and over again for the past week and it's starting to piss me off.
Reinstall iTunes.
1. First uninstall + reinstall itunes. The itunes info in the mac OS registry is probably corrupt and can't function properly.
2. Do a clean reinstall of itunes. It should solve the issue.
3. You can always get help from apple support. Get support for issues like the one u mentoned "software update server isn't responding"
- Why won't my iTunes won't detect my iPad 2 or iPhone 4S? My iTunes version is 10.6 and it won't detect my iPad 2 or iPhone 4S in the devices tab. My computer recognizes it as an iPad and an iPhone but it won't show up in iTunes. I have uninstalled everything related to iTunes and Apple and re-installed iTunes and that did not help at all. - Why won't my itunes allow me to update my iPhone? My iTunes won't let me update the latest version of iOS on my iPhone because it says I have to update my iTunes on my computer. So I updated my iTunes and went to update my phone again and it still said I had to update my iTunes and I did it again but still no luck. What could I be doing wrong?
- Why won't iTunes let my iPhone go into iTunes? My brother put a password on my iPhone, and he forgot it. I, stupidly, tried a whole bunch of passwords to see if I could get it, and not my phone is disabled. I tried connecting it to iTunes to get it undisabled so I can restore my phone, but it keeps saying I need to put in the password in order for me do get onto iTunes. This happen to anybody else? - What will happen if I update my itunes into itunes 11.0.1? I'm trying to update my iphone3gs to ios 6 but everytime I click update, it says it requires itunes 11.0.1. Should I click download? Coz I got traumatize when my friend clicked something on her itunes and now her iphone is not working anymore. I'm only new in using apple gadgets.
