Why won't my Iphone alert me when i get a text?
My phone, iphone 4s, always used to show me a banner whenever i get a text. It just randomly stopped. I checked in notifications about a million times and its set to show me a banner. I haven't dropped it or done anything that would have broken my phone. I would just really like to know how to fix this without taking it to an apple store.
Reset it!
1.press on power button continuously.
2. After 5 sec without releasing power button press on home button continuously.
3. After 10 sec release power button only (don't release home button)
now your iphone is reset. Don't be afraid. This won't delete your apps or personal records! Thats for default settings only! God bless you!
Make sure in notifications it has "show in home screen" selected

- Why won't my iphone 5 alert me with my fb notifications? I have y notifications on for facebook and snapchat but my phone won't tell alert me with a badge or a sound. I have to open facebook or snapchat to see if anything is new. I got this iphone new today so it should be working I have it on in notifications with sound on and lock screen on

- Why doesn't it alert me when there's a hurricane? I have a iPhone & I see many people get alerts on their phone saying there's a tornado, hurricane etc. How do I get those alert notifications. I went to settings and turned on emergency alerts but doesn't give me anything. Yesterday there was a tornado spotted around where I live. But got no notifications. Is there any app I can use?!
