Wi-Fi not working on iPhone 4s?

A while back I dropped my phone in water and the Wi-Fi stopped working. It's updated to the most recent update, and I thought it was just because of the ios problems because I see a ton of people complaining about it. But the updates have done nothing and I've gone months without it.

I just would really like Wi-Fi because I paid four dollars for an app that won't download without it.

You dropped it in water. Your lucky it even turns on. You can try what b92, but you really only need to reset your network settings. But thats not going to fix it. If Wi-Fi is greyed out in your settings your only option is buying a new phone.

Water damage is water damage. It affects hardware, not software, so a reset won't do you any good if this is from the water. Your best bet is to bring it to the Apple Store and hope they can fix it or help you get a new one. Hope that helps.

Next time you get your phone wet try the following…
1. Do not turn it on or try to charge
2. If possible, remove the battery (not on your iPhone)
