Yes, my girlfriend just complained to me about this today. Backup your voice memos to your computer before upgrading, because they are not saved when you upgrade.
I have a lot of original songs and composition ideas recorded onto my phone which I want to keep that may be valuable to me in the future. I want to install ios 8 but definitely won't if it means my songs being scraped. Please answer.
