Will iphone 3gs still be usefull?
Will apps like whatsapp and facebook stillwork? I really need to know this.
WhatsApp will still work, Facebook will not as it requires iOS 7 or higher (3GS only has iOS 6).
Not really, that thing is ancient. Bet is can only run up to iOS 5.0
The minimum right now is iOS 6. Because it can run most apps. But even iOS 6 is becoming old. Newer apps don't run on iOS 6 and some older apps aren't working as well on it.
at minimum, atleast have iOS 6 but its much better if you have iOS 7 or iOS 8
- Unlocking iPhone 3GS still legal? Is unlocking an iPhone 3GS still legal? I know they just passed a new law saying you can't unlock phones, but "legacy phones" are still legal to unlock. Does an iPhone 3GS count as a legacy phone?
- Is the iPhone 3GS still worth it? Using a Wildfire S here, driving me mad. Problems with storage and lag are making me consider buying an iPhone 3GS second-hand off of eBay. But as the title says, is it worth switching? I don't mind sacrificing the 5MP camera in favor of the 3MP one as I rarely use the camera on my phone. Obviously, I can only afford a 3GS.
