Will mobile hotspot cost me?
Well I had an iphone and I used my mobile hotspot thing on it to get Wi-Fi on my laptop and it worked and it didn't cost me, but now I have a blackberry bold 9900 and I still have the same sim as I had in my iphone and the blackberry has mobile hotspot on it but when I go to put it on it goes warming this may charge. Will it cost me.
No the manufacture just put that incase they do cahrge you, so there not responsible for the charges.
- Will using my iPhone's hotspot cost extra money? I have an iPhone 4s (which is up to date on all IOS updates) and I have the unlimited data plan at AT&T. I'm leaving for a road trip tomorrow, and I wanted to turn the hotspot on so I could use that Wi-Fi on my laptop during the trip so I won't get bored. It says I need to set up an account for it, which I will do later… But would any extra charges be added to my bill?

My question is am I paying extra for this or is it taking away from my 4GB of data that I have monthly? I have att and live in Ca. I was planning on using the personal hotspot for my laptop to do homework. If it does use my monthly datat how much do you think my laptop would use for an hour of browsing watching videos?
