Will my US bought iPhone of tmobile work on my indian carrier?
I'm thinking to buy an iphone 6 tmobile from US. But will it work on my indian carrier.

It depends if your phone is SIM locked or not. Most newer iPhones are unlocked any, especially when you do not buy it with a plan but pay the phone at once.
Check with T-Mobile US if the phone is unlocked.
Also there's many services that unlock your phone for a small fee. You also might consider buying it from a different source unlocked and hassle free.
If it is unlocked, yes. If not, no.

I have an iphone 4s with virgin mobile and I want an iphone 5 but all virgin mobile phones are so expensive! I looked on ebay for virgin mobile nano sim cards and they are only around 2 dollars. If I bought one of these sim cards and a used iphone 5 from another carrier would it work with my carrier?
