Will verizon charge me for using Wi-Fi?
I just bought an iphone, and I have a 1GB a month data plan because I'm always in a Wi-Fi area. However, I just recently found out that if I do not turn off the cellular data (even if you keep the Wi-Fi connection on, ) you will still be charged for Data usage. Is this true? Will I have to keep my Celllular data off when I'm using Wi-Fi?
I have Verizon btw.
If youre feeding off of a Wi-Fi connection you shouldnt have to have your phones internet on, and you shouldnt be charged for data used from an independent Wi-Fi connection. At least i've never been charged for it.
- Traveling overseas. Need to charge my e cig which i normally charge thru a usb adapter plugged into an iphone charging block Is it safe to charge it like this when the power is 220? Will my e cog get fried or does the charging block regulate the current output?
- Is it OK to charge your iPhone 5s anytime at above 20% charge? And help me out the phone runs out very fast and good app ppl say battery doc is crap and… So on i've let it couple of times like less than 12 times at 1% charge and thrice 0% bad?
- IPhone loses charge overnight.a lot of charge. Why? My iPhone 4S was on 5.1.1 but i did restore the software last week and used a backup to also restore the files. Since then I have been losing about 35-40% of my battery overnight, I'm a very power-conscious person, I only use wi-fi, 3g when i need to and i usually keep everything off except data, notifications are to a minimum and location services are off as well as brightness being as low as possible. What is going on? Any help is appreciated
- If I download apps using my internet, will verizon still charge me? I have a iPhone 5s. I turned off cellular data and 4G LTE and stuff because I've been getting messages from Verizon saying that I've used up 50% and 75% of my plan for the next bill or that "the number ending in #### is being billed data overage"
