Will you use the Internet for as long as you live?
For me I'm actually trying to quit it all together. I hate it. And I also don't want to be the mom who posts pictures of her newborn baby on facebook the day its born until its old enough to have its own facebook. It takes the special out of everything. "She took her first steps! I have to film this with my iPhone and put it on facebook!". Its just not special anymore. I don't want every exciting thing to happen to me to be put on facebook. So I'm trying to quit the Internet all together.
You are trying to quit the internet what are you doing on it then? Clearly you enjoy getting feedback from strangers, that can't be a bad thing.
"The Internet" =/= "Facebook".
I use the internet every day and don't even have a Facebook account.

However, I'm in the process of leaving Facebook. The latest changes in the privacy policy have confirmed to me that Facebook is an increasingly dangerous website to be on.
