Would my iPhone 5 update to iOS 7 if I reset it?

I just want to know if I erase all content and settings on my iphone 5 (which has iOS 6) would it update to iOS 7 (I really hate iOS 7) I'm using my iphone to restore not computer(iTunes)

As I know & did nope! It just erases all contents and settings!

to update without computer you have to go to update in your setting and touch update button or let the iPhone automatically download and update to iOS7. Erasing data and settings will not update your firmware.

if you hate iOS7 look, you can install iOS7 and enjoy abilities and jailbreak it to apply an iOS6 theme!

  • Will the MAC address of my iPhone reset if I reset my iPhone to its factory settings over iTunes? I have jailbroken my device and used terminal to change my MAC address so that I could connect to school's Wi-Fi. But when I wanted to change it to its initial number, I typed in a wrong value and it just messed up my Wi-Fi, I can't connect to Wi-Fi anymore. Wonder if resetting to factory settings would help…
  • Update stopped during ios update own iphone now phones broke I connected my iPhone 4 to my computer (iTunes) and started doing the update through iTunes. About five minutes into the update iTunes in my computer stops working, causing the update to of course stop working. Now my phone will not turn on. On the screen it is black with the 'charge symbol' as if it were low on battery and an iTunes symbol. I have tried turning my phone off and on, but of course it didn't respond.
  • New iOS 6 update, find my iPhone update? I don't like the new find my iPhone update is there a way to change back to the old find my iPhone but keep the new update? • Is the iOS 6.1 update on iPhone 3 safe to update? On my first iPhone there were problems, and the update didn't help it wiped out everything and among other things had to get a new iPhone. The iPhone I have now works, so should I risk this update? It's a 3GS.
