Would my Iphone backup still be usable?
Right now i'm running iOS 7.1.2 and i want to downgrade my iphone to 7.0.6 (to jailbreak it). If i backup my iphone while running 7.1.2 could i still put everything back on while running 7.0.6?
To my knowledge you can't down grade an ios operating system.
IOS is not downgradable. Backups made to iCloud or your computer with iTunes do not include iOS, only data such as apps, music, etc. So your phone will keep the current version of iOS when you restore a backup.
I have, however, seen people transfer from a newer device to an older one (e.g., shattered screen, didn't have $$$ for current model) and they were able to restore the backup from the newer device with a newer version of iOS to an older device with an older version of iOS.
- Is there a way(without computer)to move my texts from my iPad to my IPhone? ICloud backup? Had to restore phone to last backup and lost texts? Hi, yesterday I had to reset my phone (IPhone 8 plus) to factory default and restore it to its last backup (April 15th). I also have an iPad mini, which everything is Synced. I got everything back on my phone (up to date) except my text messages. I'm not able to access my computer right now and have read you can get them back my backing up you messages to ICloud. Is there anything I can do to get them back on my phone (they are still on my iPad mini), without using my Mac?
- IPhone charger wet, still usable? Okay so my niece put my charger (this side that goes into my phone) in her mouth and her mom put my phone back on the charger and now my phone won't charge on anything.
- If I would steal an Iphone from a random person and cut his finger off would it still work? We all know that you can unlock your Iphone with your fingerprint. So if I would steal an Iphone from somebody and cut his finger off, would I be able to unlock it later?
- I forgot to backup my iPhone before, I backup past version? Now I lost all my new pictures, I don't know what to do. How do I get them back? I CLOUD backup doesn't work, how do i undo this? How to do i get my recent information back?
