Would replacing the battery on the iphone 5 fix water damage?
I want to buy a water damaged iphone 5 from someone. He said it was quickly token out but was completely submerged. He said all he tried was a can of air but that's it. Should I take the risk and replace the battery? Would that work? What else could I try? He's selling it for 200
If water got into the electronics it is totally fried. It is worth zero bucks.

- Iphone water indicators not pink, still possible water damage? Hypothetically, if you got your iphone 4s wet, but the water indicators are not triggered at all, is it still possible the phone has water damage on the inside that apple would find if they took it apart?
- Iphone submerged in water, logic board has water damage? My phone was under water for 10 sec. Atleast and in my wet pocket for about 2 minutes. Led wouldnt turn off and power / lock button didn't work… Put it in rice and two days later i charge it apple logo pops up then writing pops up above the apple logo. Will the guy taking my phone to clean it out and try to fix it need my passcode? And will my contacts, apps, photos, music, internet history still be on my phone? Like when he fixes it turns and on and stuff?
