1GB of internet per month on iphone 5?

If i was had 1gb per month and i also had my iphone connected to my hub would it connect to my hub when i'm in my house and use the 1gb when i'm out of the house?

If you have a Wi-Fi connection in your house or if you find one in public, your phone will switch to that and use that instead of the cellular data. If there's no Wi-Fi hotspot around you, then it will use the cellular data.

  • Will 1GB of data a month be enough for an iPhone? I'm thinking of getting an iPhone, but only the small plan, which has only 1GB of data a month. The only thing I go on the internet for on my phone is Facebook. Will it be enough data? Or will it be constantly looking for updates and stuff and use internet data? My old phone did that and took away heaps.
  • Is 40GB internet allowance per month enough for my household? In my house we have two laptops and two iPhones which are connected to the BT Home Hub. My brother and I browse the internet, we don't download games and rarely download applications (unless it's from the apple app store for my MacBook). Our browsing is quite heavy-use though. I'd say I spend around an hour every night on my laptop, and my brother spends around four hours. WIll 40GB be enough?
  • How much per month would an iphone cost me? I'm on a family plan with At&T and we have unlimited texting. How much would internet cost? (limited and unlimited) Also please explain 3G and 4G to me? I don't understand what that is… Does it cost extra?
  • How much is the iPhone 5 data plan per month through Verizon? I don't want to hear people recommend android or tell me to go at and t or sprint, I just want to know the price for me to get the 2gb data or whatever and talk and text, every option with its corresponding price listed, if possible.
