2 year contract for verizon iPhone?
One of my friends has had a droid for about a year and 4 months and wants to get the new iPhone 5 or the iPhone 4s. He currently has verizon as his carrier and wants to continue using verizon. He asked me earlier this week if he could still get the 2year contract deal for a new iPhone even though he still has 6 more months for his 2year contract with the droid. I had no idea what to tell him and am curious to know as well. Can anyone help?
If you sign into a 2 year contract with Verizon, every 22 months you are allowed to renew your 2 year contract and get a discounted price on a new phone (such as the iPhone 5/4S).So he just needs to wait 4 months or pay full price (799+) for the iPhone 5 or 4S.
Most likely a very low discount. Most carriers have an 18 and 22 month upgrade policy. 22 for full amount and 18 for like… 100 bucks off.
