24 month iPhone contract but phone packs up before the end?

Have a 24 month business contact with O2 which ends March next year. My insurance is with my bank.
Although the phone is in pristine condition, it's had heavy use. The battery won't last more than an hour, messages are mixing up, it constantly crashes.
I need to use this for a further 6 months as my business line. Will either O2 or my insurance help as its not (really) my fault?

I'd advise to call the insurance company up and tell them your situation. It depends if it will be replaced or not

  • What incentives can I expect for upgrading to iPhone 5 with O2 at end of contract? At the end of April 2013, I complete my 24 month contract with O2 and the iPhone 4. At the end of March 2013 I can upgrade to the iPhone 5 a month early. I see that a new customer can get the iPhone 5 64GB for £209.99 and also have to pay £47 (I currently pay about £43) per month for 24 months, so what incentive can I expect for upgrading rather than just signing up as a new customer or just going elsewhere? A cheaper iPhone, lower monthly fee or something else?
  • What happens at the end of 2 year contract? My 2 year contract ends next year December 27. When I first applied for a 2 year contract, Starhub let me choose only two phones - Xiaomi Redmi Note and LG G3 Beat. I chose Xiaomi and I'm regretting it. I want to get an Apple iPhone at the end of the 2 year contract. But will they only let me choose 2 phones like the beginning of the contract? Or I can demand the phone I want?
  • Is tbere any major différence between thé iPhone 6 and the 6s? Whooppeee is Xmas again and my daughter wants new 2nd hand) iPhone… 2 years ago almost bought her 5 before i réaliséd that it was 5s she wanted ( cos thé 5 sucks?) And I don't want to screw up this year…
  • IPhone 5S for £38/$63 a month, or iPhone 5C for £33/$55 a month? I've just got an iPhone 5C, 24 months £33 a month, 500mb of data, £10 up front payment. But i've just realised that I might be able to just afford an extra £5 a month for the iPhone 5S, which would be 1gb data and £40 up front cost. So i'm tempted to swap for that, what do you think?
