2A vs 1A when charging android/iphone?
I noticed the iphone wall to USB adapter outputs at 5 v, 1 amp
and android is 5 v 2 amp
can I use the android adapter to charge iphone?
Will it charge faster? Will it damage the phone?

You can certainly use it, but unless the phone charging circuitry is capable of drawing more than 1A then a 2A charger won't supply more than 1A to the phone.
It also won't do any harm.
