3DS can't connect to Wi-Fi

So… After trying to find myself an adapter to avoid this issue so many people have with connecting to the internet… I couldnt find one, and I'm back to trying to connect the proper way.

Every time I connect to Wi-Fi, I get a security error, and it won't let me connect on my 3ds. I can connect to Wi-Fi on my iphone, ipod, laptop, but not my 3ds. How do I do it? I don't understand. Zz

Is the Wi-Fi password protected? Did you remember to put the password in and change the settings to reflect the security settings of your Wi-Fi? Kinda of need more info.

This happened to me! You probably turned Wi-Fi off(with the stupid switch on the side), or messed with the dns. Go to setting then internet settings and make sure all the Wi-Fi stuff is correct and if you changed the dns make it the non custom dns. I hope this is the problem you were running into! Sorry if i was of no help.

  • Why is my netflix so slow on my nintendo 3ds? Yesterday I bought regular nintendo 3ds and pokemon.So, i downloaded netflix app on my 3ds. I already have my netflix account. The movies are still loading forever… That's long so how can i fix that? My laptop, iphone 5, ps3, wii u, and xbox 360 are fine with netflix but not 3ds. It is so slow! I have comcast and TP-link router. I think tp-link sucks because of slow right?
  • Which is a better MP# player, 3DS XL or PSP 3000? Just to get this out there, I don't care if there's iPods or iPhones or smart phones or anything else that can handle this more efficiently or better. I've given up on Apple, I don't want a 3rd party MP3 player, and these are just the most convenient for me since I carry either/or with me everywhere. Which do you believe is the better MP3 Player overall? Personal experience is much appreciated, and thank you ahead of time.
  • Should I sell my Nintendo 3DS for an Iphone 4? I've always been interested in Apple products. But I could never afford them. I've had my 3DS for a while now, and hardly every play it anymore. Do you guys think it's a good idea to sell it and buy an iphone 4 or 4S? I'm not into the 5 very much. And I don't see a difference between 4 and 4S besides the camera. Can somebody tell me whether I should sell it or not, and whether to get the 4 or 4S if i do?
  • Should I buy a 3DS XL or wait for a new console? I follow products like Iphones, Macbooks, Game systems carefully. But I have not watched rumors on Nintendo products. I would like to buy the 3ds Xl, but I also see that it was released a year and a half ago. Are any new systems in the works anytime soon? And rumors?
