50% discount, iPhone 4S or iPhone 5?
I'm going to get a white iPhone, but I'm not sure which to get, 4S or 5? I have never owned an iPhone, so it is not a question of uprgrading, and I can get 50% off either model, so cost isn't really an issue, althought the 5 costs slightly more per month, and for the initial cost of the handset.

If its 50% off, go 5… 4S and 4 are still really good phones but with 50% off the hardware and battery on 5 are huge improvements, plus another 20% thinner on top of it.
If money was no object then I can't see why your even asking. The 5 is obviously better if you can afford it - it's faster, thinner and has all the latest features. However, an this is just my opinion to give you a few options. A HTC One X and Samsung Galaxy S3 are much better and cheaper. They offer much more and I think they're both better but it's up to you.

If the monthly cost is going to be an issue for you, or you think it could become one in the long term of the contract, get the 4s. It's just as good, and current, and once software is upgraded, the differences are purely physical. (Iphone 5 is taller, thinner, and has a smaller usb port) I still have my iphone 4s, and am holding off on the 5, as i just don't think it's worth paying the extra for. When i'm due for an upgrade, i'll get it, but until then, i'll stick to my equally brilliant 4s. (I have the white one incidentally, and i do think it looks different and slightly less dull than the black!
The iPhone 5 doesn't cost more per month. The plans are similar for all phones on a network. Although, the iPhone 5 is more expensive up front than the iPhone 4S. But if you can get 50% off, than go for the iPhone 5, since you've got a great deal.
Apple uses a strict fixed price policy so your "50% off" is in fact something you will be paying in the contract. They are not allowed to sell any new Apple product cheap as they will get the right to sell the products taken off them and no retailer will risk that.
If it is 50% off then beware as it WILL be fake, stolen, second hand or a dodgy knock off.
- Why is walmart selling there iPhone 5 at a discount price? What's the catch to getting a cheaper iPhone at walmart. The cell company that I have is selling iPhone 5 for it's regular price. Why is walmart selling it cheaper? Please and than you.
- Where to buy an iPhone 4s/5 for discount? Not used, if possible, but I'll take used as long as it is in extremely good/like new condition. RELIABLE places, too please. I'd like to stay off of ebay. Craigslist might be okay (Pennsylvania) but I would prefer not to go there if possible. Links would be great, if that's no trouble, if it is, then fine thanks for answering anyway.
